Quantum of breeder seed production always surpassed the indents reflects successful progression of AICRP-NSP (Crops). Even though imperceptible mis-matches were observed during past few years, referred below illustration clearly depicts that, there is a discernible decrease in mis-matches observed in all major crop species. For example, during the year 2014-15; among 1172 varieties in seed chain, mis-match was reflected in 408 varieties (34.8%). In comparison, during 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19; among 1154, 1169, 1205 and 1229 varieties in seed chain, mis-matches were reflected in 314 (27.2%), 295 (25.2%), 278 (23.1%) and 213 (17.3%) varieties respectively.
