The DWR is located at 23.90° North Latitude, 79-58° East Longitude and at an altitude of 411.78 m above mean sea level. DWR situated near the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV) on National Highway No. 7 and is about 10 km from Jabalpur railway station and 23 km from Jabalpur airport.
